London, July 14 (ANI): Eoin Morgan has hailed the Indian Premier League's influence on his career as he prepares to face India in next week's first Test.
Morgan returned from the Twenty20 tournament in May to smack 193 for England Lions against Sri Lanka and earn himself a Test place.
The Sun quoted the Irishman, 24, as saying: "I learned a lot from the IPL. When I came back, I found I was striking the ball better. I learned from playing alongside guys such as Rahul Dravid. Watching him train and his ethos of hitting thousands of balls was very interesting." (ANI)
